RegData returns are changing

RegData returns are changing

The FCA plan to publish the policy statement for CP24/19: Consumer Credit Regulatory Returns in quarter one next year and the proposal is for RegData returns to be in the calendar year (rather than based on the accounting end date).

This may impact your firms RegData returns for 2025 if your permissions include credit broking, providing credit information services, debt adjusting and debt counselling.

These changes follow the introduction of Product Sales Data returns for Consumer Credit agreements and form part of the FCA’s multi-year plan to replace the data they collect from the consumer credit sector improving the quality of the data they receive.

If you or your firm require help and support with these returns, please get in touch.
